Responsibilities:
- Plant Care:
- Select and plant a variety of flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants based on design plans and client preferences.
- Implement proper watering, fertilization, and pest control measures to ensure the health and vitality of plants.
- Landscape Design:
- Collaborate with the design team to bring creative concepts to reality.
- Execute landscaping plans, including layout, hardscape installation, and overall aesthetic enhancements.
- Maintenance:
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address issues such as disease, pests, or inadequate growth.
- Perform routine tasks such as pruning, weeding, and mulching to maintain the integrity of the landscape.
- Client Interaction:
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and expectations.
- Provide recommendations on plant selection, maintenance schedules, and improvements to enhance the overall appearance of the landscape.
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Gardener or similar role.
- Knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscaping principles.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and an eye for detail in implementing design concepts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
